Colleges for a 19 ACT

Students with a composite score of 19 on the ACT have a national rank of 47. If you got a 19 on the ACT, you did better than 47 percent of all students who took the exam. National rank is the number of students who scored higher or lower than a certain ACT score.

Fifty-three percent of test-takers score above 19 on the ACT. The average score on the ACT is around 20.

Colleges with open admissions and some moderately selective colleges accept students with ACT score between 18 and 24. More selective colleges usually look for a ACT scores in the range of 25 - 29. Very selective colleges prefer an ACT range of 27-31. The colleges that are hardest to get in to usually look for ACTs in the 32-36 range.
