About UW Milwaukee

The second largest university in Wisconsin, UW-Milwaukee has about 23,000 students and offers more than 200 undergraduate, graduate and non-degree programs. It is also home to Wisconsin’s top-ranked online education program. Most students attend the main campus in Milwaukee, but a small liberal arts college experience is available to students at our Waukesha and Washington County campuses. About one-third of our students are first-generation college students, and one-third are students of color. We are regularly listed among the best colleges in the nation for veterans and LGBTQ+ students.
