In order to support its population of roughly twenty million, the state of New York formed a web of sixty-four state schools (the largest in the country!), known as SUNYs–the State Universities of New York. Due to its expansive and, quite frankly, daunting number, it is important that one knows how to navigate the network of SUNY schools in order to find their correct fit. Similar to the national college process, each SUNY has distinctive qualities and specialties. Please feel free to take a look at each in order to narrow down your college choices and find your perfect SUNY.
