From contributors to editors, our network of subject-matter experts has significant expertise in a range of college topics, from financial aid to admissions, and even what it's like to be the first person in your family to pursue higher education. They can do a lot to ensure your story is up to date, nuanced, and helpful to aspiring or current college students everywhere. Contact us using our press contact form to connect with someone suited to your exact needs.

Forum User Press Inquiries

College Confidential welcomes journalists to our discussion forum. However, it's important to us to create an environment where our members understand where and how their comments will be used. If you are a journalist planning to post on the College Confidential forum in search of interview subjects or for research, please follow these instructions:

  1. Before posting, contact College Confidential using our press contact form. We must approve your query. If you proceed without permission, a moderator will remove the post.
  2. If you are not already a CC member, you will need to create an account (it's free and takes minutes). If you're a freelancer, your username should be your own name. If you're part of an organization, please include the name of the publication or media company you work for in your username. If you already have a College Confidential account that is not under your name or your organization's name, you can use your existing account but must include the required information at the start of the post (e.g., "My name is Lois Lane and I am a reporter for the Daily Planet").
  3. The initial post—and all subsequent ones—must adhere to the College Confidential Terms of Service. However, as an approved journalist, you can include an email address in your post. You cannot include a phone number. For more detail, please consult our Terms of Service.
