UC Irvine Academics

University of California, Irvine requires at least 180 units to graduate with a bachelor's degree.

Students can choose the accelarated degree program if they would like to finish all the credits for graduation in less time than normal. UC Irvine accepts transfer credits. The school accepts AP credit and IB credits. Many students like to take classes in the summer, to earn extra credits. However, UC Irvine does not offer classes during the summer.
